Dixieland

This group interprets a musical style that stemmed from jazz & blues in the early 20th century, with origins in the city of New Orleans, in the state of Louisiana, United States of America.
Dixieland becomes an extremely enjoyable musical show dominated by spontaneous improvisation.

When listening to this musical style, we immediately travel back in time to New Orleans, the birthplace of countless musicians, whose bars were the places where talent took centre stage.
Nowadays, there are still countless groups of jazz musicians who continue to cultivate a taste for this light, lively and loose style.

The formation of the Navy Band's Dixieland group consists of six musicians who play the clarinet, the saxophone, the trumpet, the trombone, the sousaphone, and the drums.
